Review:
"Be Thou My Vision" is perhaps the best-known text set to the Irish folk tune "Slane". In this setting, the melody first appears in the midrange bells with a descant above. Later on, the upper bells have the melody with a chordal, thumb-damped accompaniment underneath. Mallets on suspended bells add further flavor to the gentle mood.
