Review:
Winner of the AGEHR National Composition Contest for the 2000 National Festival Conferences this piece is playable by 3, 4, 5 or 6 octaves of bells and optional percussion. The Latin flavor of the music is communicated through staccato technique, syncopated rhythms, feisty passages and an aggressive movement to a final marted chord. Percussion is Marimba, Bongos, Claves, Maracas, Tambourine.
