Review:      This two-piece folio for solo bells with NO keyboard accompaniment is a study in contrasts. "Symbols" is marked "smoothly" and uses simple rhythms. "Strivings" is marked "with energy" and is filled with dotted rhythms and harmonic intervals. There isn't a clear explanation as to why these unique titles were selected.
