Review:
Composer Wilson incorporates the theme from "Boris Godounof" into his original work for bells. The stately overtones are achieved through fanfare-type 16th and eighth-note rhythms and shakes. A smoother section appears in the middle, then the tempo quickens and moves through a chromatic passage. The piece ends triumphantly on a fortississimo dynamic.
