Review:
Adeste Fidelis is here set as a hymn concertato for SATB chorus with keyboard accompaniment and optional brass quintet, timpani and four octaves of handbells and congregation. The bells ring in the first and last sections of the work and usually in full, chordal texture. The introduction is marked moderato maestoso and is fanfarish in tone. Brass Ensemble consists of three trumpets, two trombones & timpani. Instrument part includes one handbell part.
