Review:
A full two octaves of bells are called for in this anthem based on the traditional English SUSSEX CAROL. The bells are scored on the treble staff and ring in 6/8 time at on two section of the anthem. The melody begins by being divided between the 3-part mixed voices and then joins at the chorus. An imitative texture is used with the text: Then why should we on earth be sad since our Redeemer made us glad. The bell part was contributed from Terry Kirkland.
