Review:
Hal Hopson has composed new music to go with the beloved text by Cecil Alexander. The bells ring a single line in half notes and accent the simplicity of the melody and unison or 2-part voices. The congregation may sing along as well. The new melody is in 4/4 time uses a combination of wide intervals and dotted rhythms to enhance the text.
