Review:      Set for two-part voices and 2-octaves of handbells, this arrangement of the Sarum plainsong, VENI CREATOR SPIRITUS, is a quick and effective avenue for involving beginning ringers in a major act of worship. The bells ring randomly and in whole note chords. The biggest challenge is watching the director for the cues, since this is not in strict time. Stanza one text reads: "Come, Holy Ghost, our souls inspire, Ignite them with celestial fire; Spirit of God, you have the art Your gifts, the sev'n-fold to impart."
