A lengthy introduction using LV accompaniment builds to a key change and then gently introduces this lovely Gaelic melody. After another modulation the melody appears in the upper bass clef with LV, eighth-note chordal accompaniment above and rolled bass clef chords below. The mood that these special effects create correspond effectively to the text.
