Review:      "Take the name of Jesus with you, child of sorrow and of woe. It will joy and comfort give you, take it then where 'ere you go." So begins the text of this gospel hymn. True to the hymn this arrangement has been set in a straight-forward traditional manner. The melody, however, does appear in upper and lower registers giving both clefs a work out on the dotted eighth-sixteenth melody rhythm. A nice echo effect takes place between the lower and upper voices throughout the work.
