Review:
Edvard Grieg's Op. 54, No. 6 has been set here for 4-octaves of bells. The work is characterized by open fifths that alternate. Grace notes are dispersed heavily throughout the work, sometimes two at time! A good deal of chromatic movement is required. The ending is the exception and mellows out to half note chords, LV accompaniment and a decrescendo ending in pianissimo. Measures total 90.
