Review:      "Pick a meter, any meter..." and you'll have the feel for this uptempo (eighth = 208), original composition. 5/8 proceeds to 6/8 then to 4/4 over and over again. Then, just when you think you've got it, it throws in a 9/8! However, in the middle of the work is a sustained 4/4 meter for 16 measures in stately, march style. The tonalities move in and out of major and minor. Lots of special techniques are called for. No ringer could become bored in this one!
