Review:
The tune NEW BRITAIN, that is haply wed to John Newton's Text, is truly a team effort in this simple trio. The melody is spread out among the three parts so that each ringer "gets a piece of the action". The 56-measure work begins in C major then modulates to D major, where it remains. No special techniques are required. This is a good beginning piece for trio work. Performance notes are given.
