Review:      A medley of "On Jordan's Stormy Banks" and "'Tis a Gift to be Simple" this arrangement begins with a march-like ostinato pattern with alternating mart-lifts. The traditional tunes are then added, but varied a bit for interest. The melody moves to the bass in m.26 and is accompanied by an effective staccato chordal pattern in the upper bells. Choir chimes on melody are called for later in the work.
