"Canticle of Joy" showcases a lyric melody accompanied by flute. Although the flute is optional, it does create a nice, contrasting timbre. The melody is flowing and set at a moderate tempo. The piece undergoes a couple of key changes. Written in the keys of C Major and Ab Major, measures total 64.
