Review:
This lively work begins with a Latin feel in the shaker and adds the other four percussion instruments every two measures until the bass bells enter with rhythmic line that continues throughout. The engaging melody is featured in various bell octaves along with treble handchimes. Sections of suspended bells add a wash of color until it all resolves in the original form. The scoring is clean and which works very nicely in featuring the rhythm and melodies. Ringers and audience will be tapping their toes with the Latin rhythm. 111 measures.
