Review:
From the talented pen of Sandra Eithun comes another fantastic transcription of a well-known piece from classical literature, this one from Léo Delibes’ Lakmé. Flowing sixteenth notes and deep, sonorous bass lines create a truly magnificent tonal experience. Delicate plucks and malleted notes appear throughout, replicating pizzicato string notes to great effect. This setting is a true masterwork, and a brilliant addition to the advanced handbell literature. 110 measures.
