Review:
"Beginner's Book of Handbell Music for Two Octaves" begins with rules about how to treat the bells properly and how to ring, followed by bell assignments. Next comes a section of preparatory exercises including scalar exercises and different rhythmic exercises featuring ringing with one, two, or three bells. Lloyd's book also includes a section of music to practice these newly-learned skills, with the music progressing in difficulty. This book may be best suited for those who have rung before but need a refresher text.
