Review:
Quietly reflecting Gerald P. Coleman’s meaningful and heartfelt text, Sandra Eithun has arranged The Lamb (WINTER) for 3–6 octave handbells, optional handchimes, and optional solo or unison voices. Lyrical lines are enhanced by the use of the handchimes and create a lovely, flowing pattern as the backdrop for the touching melody. Each stanza increases in emotion and intensity to match the passion of the text. A reproducible vocal part is included to give the option of using a choir or soloist. An ideal choice for worship year-round, but especially during Lent, Holy Week, or communion. 72 measures. Key of C Major.
