Review:
Selected for the 17th International Handbell Symposium 2016 in Vancouver, Canada, Recollection is a soothing, lyrical composition with flexible instrumental options. While the piece may be rung with just chimes and/or bells, the addition of the optional instrument(s) adds much to the musical context. Recollection is excellent for teaching musicality and expressive musicianship. It will provide meditative moments in worship, and be effective in concerts and festivals. 88 measures. Keys of G Major and Ab Major.
