Review:      Commissioned for the dedication of a new organ, this hymn of praise to God, Creator of all the arts, focuses primarily on music and its historic role in worship. The colorful organ part explores a wide range of combinations from gentle strings and solo flute to full ensembles with solo trumpet. Both the organ part and the choral part are not difficult; and the anthem is perfect for occasions celebrating the place of music and especially the organ in worship, or as a general anthem of praise. Utilizing organ with optional Zymbelstern or Handbells, "When the Morning Stars Together" is based on the tune WEISSE FLAGGEN. 4 handbells from the 3rd and 4th octaves are used.
