Review:      Ron Mallory has a talent for bringing new ideas to familiar tunes, and his setting of "Come Thou Long Expected Jesus" is no exception. A gentle syncopation begins and ends this setting of the hymntune JEFFERSON for 3-5 octaves with 7 optional handchimes within a two octave set. A middle section contains sixteenth notes and a bit more flourish. 49 measures in length, it is scored in f minor and a minor.
