Commissioned to honor Lee Afdahl, this [oece is a set of six variations on an original theme based upon Lee’s name. The variations use numerous handbell techniques such as martellato, echo, malleting and thumb damp. The variations go from major to minor and use various meters including a rollicking one in 6/8. This piece is perfect for worship, concert and festival settings. It is 103 measures long.
