Review:
This is an exciting composition expressing the elation of the crowd as the Lord Jesus rode by. The bells from E5 and above are divided into three Bell Trees. The remaining ringers use handchimes and bass bells to accompany the bells trees. The optional percussion provides additional atmosphere of a passing procession. Using the alternate title provided, the composition is also appropriate to depict the procession of the kings as they searched for the Christ Child. It is 52 measures in length and is scored in d minor.
