Review:
Wissinger creates a refreshing setting of the venerable hymn tune. The opening phrases are stated with conviction enhanced by the judicious use of stopped techniques. This is followed by a slower, contrasting, legato section with an arpeggiated bass, using the LV technique. The closing section is strong and rhythmic. Scored in C Major, this version is 53 measures in length.
