Review:      Virginia Bronze is a community based , auditioned handbell ensemble that performs a wide range of handbell music including secular, sacred, popular, and original pieces. The group welcomes opportunities for artistic collaboration, and concert performances have included selections with voice, strings, winds, percussion, and keyboard, as well as dance. Virginia Bronze's primary outreach activity is through concert performances, most of which are thematic in nature. The group performs throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area and recently has given performances for national handbell and organ conferences. Some of the members are professional musicians, others are students or work in varied professions such as healthcare, small business owner, academia, the federal government, patents and IT.
