"Near the Cross" is a beautiful and simple arrangement of the beloved hymn with few special techniques (only the use of LV). The lack of techniques allows the choir to be creative by either using handbells or handchimes alone or mixing the two instruments for even more variety. 76 measures in all, this arrangement is scored in Bb Major.
