Review:
Robin Benton brings us another arrangement from Edward Elgar, an English composer whose lush harmonies seem well-suited to the resonance of handbells. The Biblical "Nimrod", the “mighty hunter before God” is the inspiration here, giving a colorful music experience for performance in worship or concert. While given a level three rating, easy rhythms of quarters and eighths and rich chords with minimal accidentals could place it closer to a level 2. 43 measures in length, it is set in C Major.
