Review:
Tasteful use of stopped techniques adds to the charming interplay between two contrasting carol tunes. The first tune, "Ring We Now of Christmas," is supported by arpeggiated chords, while the second tune, "Come Ye Lofty" is supported by an "oompah" bass. Beginning softly, the work gradually builds from piano to fortissimo, ebbing away as it began. Easy and effective, this medley is 84 measures and is set in d minor.
