Review:
"Lamentation" is a contemplative and lyrical work appropriate for any occasion and especially suited for Holy Week. A great teaching piece for phrasing, dynamics, and structure, "Lamentation" utilizes LV and suspended mallet techniques. Sections in both (d) minor and (C) Major build to a dramatic climax before the piece softly ends at measure 55.
