In this selection, Dan R. Edwards creates a delightful interplay of three seasonal hymn tunes ("We Three Kings, Break Forth O Beauteous Heavenly Light, and As With Gladness Men of Old") to musically recall the story of the three wise men. This work makes effective use of swing, echo, gyro, and stopped techniques, and its triple meter setting contributes to a sense of effortless musical flow. Arranged in C Major and G Major, this medley is 114 measures.
