Review:
This is a straightforward setting of the ever popular
"Schonster Herr Jesu". Slight changes in the traditional harmony create variety and keep the audience interested. Extra special attention must be paid to dynamics since there are multiple crescendos and descrescendos; a strong fortissimo ending finishes the 49-measure piece. A lack of special techniques makes this work a possibility for chimes. This rendition of the familiar hymn tune is set in G Major.
