Review:
Based on the tune
"Slane", this arrangement is a real charmer and is highly recommended for beginning bell choirs. It is mostly chordal with the middle treble ringing the melody in the middle section aided by eighth notes in the upper register. The piece gradually grows to a powerful fortissimo in the midsection and then descends back down to its soft beginning. Hopson's arrangement of the Irish melody is scored in F Major and is 99 measures.
