Review:
This Mexican folk song, with its traditional rhythms, is a great addition to a concert repertoire! A purely rung, graceful section is sandwiched between two bouncy, faster sections. The triplet-versus-dotted-quarter-eighth rhythms may need some extra work; but once they are mastered, "Carmela" will be enjoyable for ringers and audience alike. Set in Db Major, measures total 86.
