Review:
The music for each song can be rung conventionally. Just follow the notes and timing as written. However, to give variety, swing can be added. Swing bands do this regularly - but not handbell ringers. The swing effect is achieved by changing emphasis, as shown in the square brackets at the beginning of a piece. In common terms, ring the dotted eighths and sixteenths as lazy triplets. It will be a challenge for ringers to spend time interpretting music in this way. As well as the lazy triplet alternative to dotted eighth-sixteenths, it can also be used on pairs of straight eighths. This is effective in "Alexander's Ragtime Band, Around the World, Blue Moon, and Carolina Moon.
