Review:
"Winter" from Vivaldi's "The Seasons" is the source of the beautiful Largo. This setting is a piece for all seasons as well as multiple combinations of handbells, handchimes, and keyboard. A chordal 2-3 octave handchime (or handbell) part may be rung alone, with provided keyboard accompaniment, or in combination with the 2-6 octave handbell part. The 2-6 octave handbell part may be rung alone or with the 2-3 octave handchime part. When rung alone, the handbell score is especially beautiful when played entirely on handchimes, without the octave doubling of the treble bells. This adaptable setting is perfect for beginning as well as the "seasoned" ringers. It is suitable for concert or worship. Measures total 35 with a repeat.
