Review:
Arranger Hart Morris does a good job of building confidence and excitement in this setting of the Sibelius tune
FINLANDIA. The opening section finds the melody in the middle with a pianissimo upper treble eighth-note motif at the cadences. After a key change the chimes enter, and then another key change raises the dynamics level; and rhythm becomes gently syncopated. The final maestoso section includes a fitting crescendo to the rowing intensity. Watch for multiple accidentals in measures 58-62. A total of 99 measures, this rendition is scored in C Major and Ab Major.
