Review:
A mysteriously haunting interpretation of a traditional Reformation hymn, this piece effectively uses the many different percussive timbres of bells. Tower ringing and bell-peal passages open the work for 15 measures before the tune enters in straightforward fashion. The next section jazzes the melody up a bit with malleted accompaniment. A majestic ending passages utilizes full chords, running bass-lines, and shakes. Measures total 77.
