Because this Spanish carol was written to approximate the sound of a strumming guitar, the arranger, Bill Ingram, has written a part for the instrument AND includes strum-like rhythms in the bell score. Special instructions are given for the bell "strumming" with mallets. The lively tempo keeps the enthusiasm pumped up throughout all 68 measures.
