Review:      The Pikes Peak Ringers is an auditioned community handbell choir, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, directed by Kevin McChesney. The group was formed in 1991 with the purpose of providing and outlet for advanced ringers and for developing professional musicianship and presentation. Their many performances have demonstrated a wide range of musical styles including classical, traditional church music, contemporary, and pop. This recording offers some of the aspects of presenting live music, including the acoustics of a fine church performance. Part of the art of handbell music is its visual style and presentation; we encourage you to picture PPR's energetic style as you listen. Audiences have been kind enough to ask us many times for recordings, and so it is with great pleasure that we present this recording By Request!
