Review:
Written for the 150th anniversary of a Canadian church, this anthem is full of energetic praise! Three octaves of handbells ring for the majority of the work as additional accompaniment. The text begins: "Praise the Lord! How good it is to sing praises to our God, for God is gracious and a song of praise is fitting." Lots of performance notes are included as well as a separate score for handbells in the back of the octavo. The piece is One Hundred and thirty-six measures in length.
