Review:
This composition is a truly lovely and sensitive setting of the traditional Polish carol. From the opening solo, it builds to include snippets of the 'gloria' section from "Ding Dong! Merrily on High", then tapers to a quiet, hushed ending. Five handbells, ranging from Eb5 to Eb6, add simple accompaniment in whole and half notes for the beginning and ending of the work. It is effective in both school and church settings.
