Prelude to Sunrise
Sandra Eithun offers a second piece written with no bell changes and comprised solely of whole and half notes. “Prelude to Sunrise” is suitable for school or sacred settings and can be rung entirely on either handchimes or handbells. Scored with the young beginner in mind, this original piece can foster success for novices of any age. The techniques are very limited, allowing ringers to concentrate on the fundamentals of counting and dynamics. This work is an ideal first piece for beginning choirs. This easy 32-measure composition is written in C Major.
