This anthem for SATB (MWBBSC9930), SAB (MWBBSC9931), or 2-part mixed voices (MWBBSC9932) features four familiar French carols: "Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence"; "Quittez Pasteurs" (Come Shepherds All); "Bring a Torch, Jeanette, Isabella!"; and "Ding Dong! Merrily on High".
Accompaniment options are organ or string ensemble (MWBBSC9930A) and optional handbells (MWBBSC9930HB). The 3 octaves of bells ring in simple textures for the final third of the piece, beginning at measure 89. String ensemble consists of violin I, violin II, viola, cello, and string bass (multiple parts for each included).
