Jubilation Mass
Two and three octaves of bells are necessary to ring the optional bell accompaniment to most sections of this ritual music for the liturgy. Jubilation Mass was written over a ten-year period (tested, expanded, and altered) then set in final form in 1999. Its goal is to be a complete setting of ritual units united by a common style and tonality that is musically flexible and liturgically pastoral. Brass ensemble consists of 2 trumpets in C, 2 trumpets in Bb, 2 trombones, timpani and suspended cymbal.
