Passion Meditation
This is a musical meditation whose message is delivered through four hymn tunes, scored for handbells and voices in varied combinations. Handbells provide the introduction and connecting measures; vocal sections can be a capella or accompanied by keyboard. The hymns are “What Wondrous Love”, “Jesus, Priceless Treasure”, “Go to Dark Gethsemane”, and “Were You There”. 128 measures. Keys of dorian mode in d, a minor, and D Major.
