Dante's View
Dante's View was a beautiful garden spot and scenic overlook in Griffith Park, a large section of land within the city of Los Angeles which contains hiking trails, the Los Angeles Zoo, the Hollywood Sign, and Griffith Observatory. This piece was chosen as the first-place winner of the Bells of the Sound (Seattle, WA) "Road Trip" composition contest in 2003. Sadly, Dante's View itself was destroyed by wildfires in Griffith Park in 2007. But fond memories of this wonderful spot will live on through the music of this composition.
