Coventry Carol
The arrangers of this ancient carol composed a descant-like counter-melody that adds beauty to the piece. The tune is carried by bass bells first and by treble bells in octaves later. Rhythms are easy and there are few accidentals within the three-flat key signature. The flowing eighth notes of the descant lines make this work sound more difficult than it is. This piece is 98 measures and is scored in c minor.
