Creation's Dawn
CREATION'S DAWN: A PRAIRIE HYMN portrays a sunrise on a prairie, and begins very quietly and with very little motion. Gradually the scene comes to life. The wind picks up and waves over the tall prairie grass, insects begin buzzing around, and even a few raindrops might be heard! The score is divided into three staves in orders to separate some articulated musical lines. Beginning at measure 49, the C6 and above are on the top staff, D5-B5 on the middle staff, and the bass clef remains on the bottom staff. Primarily scored in F Major, this composition is 103 measures.
