Commissioned for the 15th annual Twelfth Night Handbell Festival, this large ensemble work is based on a Brazilian melody with a text that begins: "The child sleeps tonight in a crude cradle stall. He's peaceful and quiet, the Savior of all." It is 113 measures in length and progresses through several key changes.
